Refund policy
1. Right to Cancel the Contract (Return of Goods)
1.1. The consumer has the right to cancel the contract without giving any reason within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the goods.
1.2. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Consumer should immediately notify the Seller of their decision (e.g., by email to sklep@akuma-inn.com or in writing to ul. Bydgoska 15, 96-300 Żyrardów).
1.3. The 14-day period begins on the day the goods were delivered to the Consumer or to a third party designated by the Consumer (other than the carrier).
1.4. After notifying the Seller of their intention to return the goods, the Consumer has an additional 14 days to return the goods to the Seller. The right of withdrawal is deemed to have been exercised if the package is returned before the expiration of this period.
1.5. The goods must be returned in an unaltered condition that allows for the determination of their nature, characteristics, and functionality (i.e., in the original packaging, with all tags and accessories intact).
1.6. The Consumer is responsible for the costs of returning the goods.
2. Refund of Payment
2.1. The Seller will refund all payments received from the Consumer (including delivery costs—up to the amount of the cheapest available delivery method offered by the Store) without undue delay, no later than within 14 days from the date of receipt of the notice of withdrawal.
2.2. The refund will be issued using the same payment methods used by the Consumer, unless the Consumer has expressly agreed to an alternative method that does not entail any additional costs for them.
3. Product Exchanges
3.1. A product exchange (e.g., for a different size or color) is treated as a return and the simultaneous placement of a new Order.
3.2. To exchange an item, the Consumer must:
submit a request for exchange (via email or in writing);
return the item within 14 days of receipt;
provide the details of the new product (code, variant, size).
3.3. The new product will be shipped to the Consumer immediately upon receipt and inspection of the returned item. The Consumer is responsible for the cost of returning the item, while the Seller covers the shipping costs for the new product.
4. Exceptions to the Right of Return
4.1. Consumers may not exercise the right of withdrawal with respect to contracts involving, among other things:
goods manufactured according to the Consumer’s specifications or intended to meet the Consumer’s individual needs;
goods that, after delivery, have been permanently combined with other items;
goods that spoil quickly or have a short shelf life;
sealed hygiene or health-related goods, if the packaging has been opened after delivery.
5. Complaints (Warranty for Physical and Legal Defects)
5.1. The consumer has the right to file a complaint if defects in the goods (physical or legal) are discovered, in accordance with the provisions on warranty (Civil Code).
5.2. A complaint must be filed immediately upon discovery of the defect—preferably in writing or via email to sklep@akuma-inn.com, specifying:
a description of the defect,
the date and circumstances of its discovery,
the Consumer’s request (e.g., repair, replacement, price reduction, withdrawal from the contract).
5.3. In the event of damage to the shipment during transit, the Consumer should prepare a damage report with the carrier and attach it to the complaint.
5.4. The Seller will review the complaint within 14 days of receiving it and inform the Consumer of how it will be resolved.
5.5. If the complaint is upheld, the Seller will cover the costs of returning the defective goods and/or delivering the repaired or new goods.
